As someone who has owned both sets, all of the Columbia Dylan SACDs are by this point wholly superseded by the MoFi releases in terms of sound quality. Even for multichannel fans, the MoFis are generally a better bet, as the multichannel layers on the few Columbia releases that had them add very little value.

And indeed the same is true here - the MoFi SACD has a better stereo mastering than this Columbia release.

But this is the one Columbia SACD I'm keeping alongside the MoFi, because unlike the other MCH Dylan Columbia releases, the multichannel mix here is actually very good and sounds considerably different than the stereo layer.
