Much better! A survey that has largely underwhelmed suddenly comes to life with a decent account of Dvorak's 'American' Symphony and an excellent edgy Polednice.

Not particularly recommendable as most collectors surely will have several established versions of the 9th Symphony in their collections and an investment for the tone poem alone might seem extravagant at today's prices.

The good news is that Bosch and his players seem determined to deliver on their stated intent of completing the survey even if it is happening over a number of years.

No word on recording format but Coviello has produced a wonderfully spacious and precisely detailed recording free of any of the more obvious PCM artefacts. There is no mention of DSD on the cover or the disc 'though.
