Torsten Nielsen (baritone)
Bine Bryndorf (organ)

Carl Nielsen (1865-1931) began writing for the organ only late in life. Starting with the 29 Little Preludes for Organ, Nielsen invented a personal organ style both Baroque and very Nielsenesque, refined in his last major work, the monumental Commotio. On this CD Professor Bine Bryndorf performs Nielsen’s organ works on the ideally suited organ at Nikolaj Kunsthal in Copenhagen, adding a selection of Hymns and Spiritual Songs with baritone Torsten Nielsen.
