With Tchaikovsky one can get by on "passion", to use Fausto's term, with Mahler not so much. Besides those Tchaikovsky discs were produced by a much younger man. And yes, it's a shame that HM seems to have abandoned sacd with only one release this year, back in February, and five or six all of last year. I counted on them for interesting choral works, always very well performed and recorded.
