I'm not sure why people are assuming that (1) this is not the EBS remastering and (2) that' a 24/96 remastering upsampled to 24/192. The one Amazon UK review mentions both ...
Interesting comments as regards the sound quality of various RR cd’s. Thanks for this. Although the Sound Mirror recordings for RR in dsd 256 sound very impressive indeed - ...
I found this a very disappointing performance. Dull no passion...…………...give me Fisher or Solti any day !
We should feel happy (or maybe relieved) that an exceptional artist of this caliber wants her work recorded in the very best sound quality.
These are full orchestra versions of two pieces (MSPC and Divertimento) that were commissioned by Paul Sacher for his Basle Chamber Orchestra. I listened in stereo, comparing ...
Definitely some interesting info at amazon.uk. To summarize: DG remastered 4-9 from original analog at 96/24 (why bother upsampling to 192???) But still unclear if anything ...
Tony, I don't think EBS has had access to 1-3. Universal Japan - which had EBS remastering - did not include 1-3. And this new DG release was not done by EBS as far as I know.

Shawn Britton at MoFi has done a wonderful job DSD mastering this one. I felt like I was is the room with the musicians when I listened to it.
The performances as such that the album is aptly titled.
Get it while you can.
Downunderman is right. I owned the LP and, then, the CD of this for many years. When I played this SACD the first time, I was absolutely stunned at how much better it sounded. You can now much better appreciate how great the playing is. The acoustic guitar parts just don't sound like they could have been recorded over four decades ago; they now absolutely chime with crystal clarity.
Now, let's hope they do "Bop Til' You Drop" next. I believe it was the first digitally recorded, non-classical album way back in 1979. That said, it sometimes takes so long for a Mobile Fidelity disc to appear after they announce it, that I fear I might not be around long enough for it to be released if they do!
