This set will also be available as 24/96 download. Downside: more expensive than the physical release.
This set will be available - like the Bruckner symphonies - as 24/96 download.

This is a real treat for lovers of classical and world music - a lovely fusion of both, with pieces tending to each end of this spectrum. Currently my favourite disc
Thanks for the comment, Mark. No doubt about the artistic merits of the album, one of Miles' peak achievements.
I do own this. The sound is very nicely cleaned up; warm and there's a wonderful clarity. It is not completely "de-hissed," which is not a criticism. People's opinions on this ...
Those old Supraphon LP's from the Czech Republic were simply outstanding and often far superior to the standard UK pressings of the day. I don't have this one ...

Impossible to believe that there can only be 2,000 people in the world that would want this disk. But that is the number it is limited to.
Shawn Britton at MoFi has done a wonderful job DSD mastering this one. I felt like I was is the room with the musicians when I listened to it.
The performances as such that the album is aptly titled.
Get it while you can.
Downunderman is right. I owned the LP and, then, the CD of this for many years. When I played this SACD the first time, I was absolutely stunned at how much better it sounded. You can now much better appreciate how great the playing is. The acoustic guitar parts just don't sound like they could have been recorded over four decades ago; they now absolutely chime with crystal clarity.
Now, let's hope they do "Bop Til' You Drop" next. I believe it was the first digitally recorded, non-classical album way back in 1979. That said, it sometimes takes so long for a Mobile Fidelity disc to appear after they announce it, that I fear I might not be around long enough for it to be released if they do!
