As always with Esoteric, no information about the provenance of the transfer. However, this recording was released on vinyl in 2018 by a company called Analogphonic. The vinyl edition was prepared by Rainer Maillard at Emil Berliner Studios "from the original masters" according to Analogphonic's website. As this is a rather obscure recording, I can't help but think there's a connection between the 2018 vinyl and Esoteric's upcoming SACD, i.e. I suspect EBS also prepared a digital file when they were working on the analogue release.

Wow, sounds good! Apparently the fact that it's mono is not a problem.
I don't know how good your Japanese is (mine is nonexistent, I must admit), but does the booklet give us any extra information about the remastering? On their website Esoteric just list the guys who worked on this and, well, that's about all the information we get. In my previous comment I surmised that EBS might have been involved in preparing this release. Is there any indication in the booklet that my conjecture is correct?
