I really liked the sound of this one.
It has a richly harmonic, detailed and smooth analog sound that allowed this listener to more readily connect with the music emotionally.
By comparison the Japanese SACD is brighter, crisper, clearer and less detailed. The end result after playing them back-to-back was a more intellectual listening experience.
Bernie Grundman also mastered this one and so far, he is having a very good run with these Steely Dan remasters.
