I would welcome inputs from colleagues on a reliable source for purchasing Exton recordings. Links are never offered on here and CD Japan seem unable to access them.
A fantastic interpretation of an irresistible masterpiece.

Released late 2023 and mastered by Rob LoVerde, with an assist by Shawn R. Britton.
Sounds excellent and seems to be analogue all the way through the recording/mixing/mastering chain. Analogue smooth and natural sounding, without any hint of accentuated treble and with a very good bottom end.
The average dynamic range of the 2005 remastered CD (the most recent digital remastering) was not kind to this album, coming in as it does at 08. With this SACD the dynamic range has been restored to something closer to the original release.
The title of this album is only slightly ironic and in hindsight it is unsurprising that they got down with Aerosmith on their next album to such great effect.
Get it while you can as it is a limited edition of 2,000 copies and I can't imagine it sounding better than this SACD does.
