I received my copy about five days ago and could only browse my ears upon it now for a preview.
Sonically, this is way better than the previous set which I also own. I'll post ...
I'm a bit uncertain about buying this — not cheap — set, but I have to admit that I'm quite curious. The most interesting work for me in this set is most likely Bruckner's ...
Exton offers a small selection of his catalogue in a sort of prime series, which is labeled as OVXL instead of the standard OVCL series. OVXL titles are 'direct cut' versions. ...

A release in the 2024 Tower Records BLUE NOTE SA-CD HYBRID SELECTION which is intended to mark the 85th Anniversary of Blue Notes founding. This one is from the 2nd tranche of this series released in October 2024.
Tower Records claims "The latest remastering in 2024 based on DSD transferred from US original master tapes ・ The CD layer is also newly converted from DSD master to PCM"
Sadly, there is no indication on who is responsible for the (re)mastering we hear here.
Sounds very good, though I am not in a position to compare it to the earlier SACD releases from 2011 and 2017.
