Released in December 2025 and first time on SACD

The album was originally engineered by Rudy Van Gelder and Ryan Smith, Sterling Sound is credited with the "Reissue Mastering" on the jacket.

The sound of the recording is quite remarkable in that it really jumps out at you when press play. Banging, smashing and crashing its way into the room and making you feel you have somehow stumbled on stage with the players. Clearly beautifully recorded in the first place with a clarity, naturalness and vibrant hi fidelity sound that is not encountered often.

Musically the first side is a bit avant for my tastes, but the second side is much more approachable.

Certainly worth getting even if just for its sonic qualities.
