"Love You Live"

Rolling Stones

This double album, the fourth live release of their career, is one of two distinct halves.

The first LP was mostly recorded live in Paris in 1976 with “If You Can’t Rock Me”/”Get Off Of My Cloud” from a London show in the same year, with “Fingerprint File” from a Toronto concert in 1975. The second LP was recorded over two nights at Toronto’s El Mocambo Tavern in March 1977. The first four songs recorded in the club have echoes of the band’s earliest days as they are covers of some Chess Records classics. The album cover features as painting by Andy Warhol with some pencil mark additions by Mick, which Mr. Warhol was none too pleased with.
