This SACD has been out of print quite a long time. - Universal Music Japan is going to re-release this (and dozens of other classical SHM-SACDs) in November/December 2018 with reduced prices.

I see on CD Japan that this is part of a 50 SHM-SACD reissue program selected by Reiji Asakura but I haven't found a complete listing there.

Tony, go to cdjapan and enter SHM-SACD in the search box, then sort by new arrivals.

Worth knowing that the DG releases starting in November 2011 were new transfers by EBS from analogue at 24/192 rather than older 24/96 transfers, some of which dated back to near the beginning of SACDs. From comments I've read, these higher res transfers generally sound better. Here's where the change happened:

The description changes from "DSG conversion from DG analog master by EBS" (including this Bruckner 7) to "DSG converted from September 2011 at EBS from DG's analog master. [German Emil Berliner Studios Production 2011 Newest DSD Master]" or something similar.

Anyone have recommendations?

My previous comment was corrected by Rainer Maillard - according to him, all the DG SHM-SACD reissues, which started in 2010, were new remixes from the original multitracks, converted to DSD or 24/192.
