Worth a listen, but recorded usng period instruments so some listeners may find the piano a little weak. I quite like listening to it from time to time.

These are repackaged stereo recordings some of which I've owned for quite a few years. Period instrument performance has come a long way in the intervening years and these simply aren't competitive with the Brautigam recordings on BIS. That's not meant as a knock on Nicholson, merely a comment on the progress in this part of the repertoire, though more or less contemporaneous recordings by Bilson and Tan were also considerably more robust.
